Fat Monk welcomes two new franchise partners in Munich
Fat Monk continues to grow in Munich: As of April 1, 2026, Ferdinand Fleis and Deniz Kavust have taken over the store in the Stachus Passagen as a new partner duo.

Expanding a franchise system depends not only on good locations, but above all on strong partnerships. Fleis and Kavust exemplify a new generation of entrepreneurial franchise partners who combine operational experience with long-term commitment. This combination is crucial if a concept is to scale sustainably in urban markets.

Fat Monk is a modern bowl concept in the fast-casual segment. Guests choose from curated or customizable bowls based on rice, quinoa, or salad – complemented by fresh ingredients, proteins, toppings, and sauces. The menu ranges from vegan options to variations with meat or fish. The focus is on high-quality, readily available, and balanced nutrition.
Two points were particularly relevant in the selection process: practical experience in the restaurant industry and entrepreneurial thinking. Despite their young age, both candidates bring experience in self-employment and the restaurant sector. After an intensive evaluation and introductory phase, the decision was a conscious, mutual one. The quality of the franchise partnerships is a key factor for the next expansion phase.
StarDev SE is supporting Fat Monk as a development partner in its market entry and structured expansion in Germany and Austria. This includes partner acquisition, site development, and support throughout the setup, opening, and onboarding process – with the goal of establishing stable locations and long-term partnerships.
