Waffle Factory launches franchise allocation in Germany and Austria – with StarDev as development partner.
The successful Belgian brand is bringing its proven waffle concept to the German-speaking market, focusing on a structured expansion in high-traffic locations.
With the market entry of Waffle Factory, a fully functional all-day dining concept combining sweet and savory products is coming to Germany and Austria. This opens up access to a proven system for those interested in franchises – and represents another step for StarDev in the sustainable development of international brands in Germany and Austria.
The concept in brief:
Waffle Factory offers freshly prepared waffles from Belgium – both sweet and savory. In addition to classic Liège waffles, the savory "LunchWaf" is a key product: a filled waffle serving as a complete meal for lunch and dinner. The menu is suitable for various times of day and offers eat-in, takeaway, and delivery.
Proven system, clear expansion
Waffle Factory already has 89 restaurants internationally. The Desobry family, who run the company in its third generation, are behind the brand's success.
In Germany and Austria, the development is now being carried out jointly with StarDev. As a development partner, we support partner acquisition, site selection, the construction process, as well as opening and onboarding – with a focus on economically stable locations in city centers, shopping malls and transport hubs.
Market entry incentive:
A special introductory package is available for the first franchise partners in Germany, designed to facilitate the start and support the establishment of the initial locations. Expansion is carefully managed and geared towards long-term partnerships.
