SONNENTOR in Landshut has been open since October – and the launch sends a clear signal for further expansion in Germany. The new store at Altstadt 78 demonstrates what is possible when location, brand presentation, and local entrepreneurial personality align perfectly.

For SONNENTOR, Landshut is more than just a new opening: The location provides a strong proof of concept for the German market. For us at StarDev, this means momentum for the next development steps – and for those interested in franchises, a tangible example of how the concept can work in a suitable location.
With the opening in Landshut, SONNENTOR has launched its 37th store worldwide. The response from the region was very strong in the first few weeks. Many customers were already familiar with the brand and actively anticipated the opening – a good indicator of brand strength and recognition. The store's presentation was also crucial: SONNENTOR is conceived as an immersive brand experience, not just a place to buy products.
With over 900 sustainable products (including organic teas, herbs, spices, coffee, syrups, and gift ideas), SONNENTOR offers a clear position in the organic and gourmet world. The product range, design, and brand tone reflect the motto "There's another way!" – and support the development of a loyal customer base.
Since 2025, StarDev has been responsible for SONNENTOR's location development in Germany – from selecting suitable locations and supporting implementation to opening and onboarding. In our view, the Landshut launch particularly clearly demonstrates that high foot traffic, a suitable layout, and a consistently implemented brand presentation are key success factors.
Nuremberg and Regensburg in focus
