With the new store at Grieskai 2, Fat Monk - Deli Bowls has been represented in Styria since May 27, 2026. For us at StarDev, this marks an important step in the further expansion of Fat Monk - Deli Bowls in Austria and Germany.

A location with strong urban footfall

The location, in close proximity to Südtirolerplatz and Kunsthaus Graz, combines an office environment, gastronomy, culture, students and city visitors. This is exactly the kind of setting that fits the Fat Monk - Deli Bowls concept: freshly prepared bowls, fast processes and an offer designed for everyday urban life.

Guests can choose between signature bowls and individually composed options. Vegan, vegetarian and meat-based choices make the concept attractive to a broad target group. From an expansion perspective, the key factors are the combination of clear positioning, product quality and lean processes.

Strong opening momentum

To mark the launch, Fat Monk - Deli Bowls introduced a limited-time opening promotion: between 12 noon and 1 p.m., free bowls were handed out to app users. Demand was already high on the first day, and local media also reported long queues in front of the store.

The opening shows how well physical footfall and digital channels can work together. Through the app, guests can access offers, prepare orders and plan their visit to the location more easily. For a fast-casual concept in urban locations, this is an important element of day-to-day operations.

With Graz, Fat Monk - Deli Bowls now grows to 14 locations across Germany and Austria. Further site developments in Germany are already in preparation.
